Tasks
- You'll lead the team responsible for designing and implementing all components of our Hybrid Cloud Management Platform, ensuring alignment with Sky Germany's cloud adoption strategy
- Your job is to transform complex, heterogeneous legacy infrastructure into a streamlined hybrid cloud ecosystem, driving high automation, enhanced resilience, business agility, and robust security compliance
- Drive cloud-native adoption through Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps automation is part of your daily business
- You'll ensure security compliance with CIS Benchmarks, cloud security frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- You'll develop and implement operational excellence frameworks, using observability, auto-remediation, and proactive incident management
- You'll help optimise cost efficiencies by leveraging chargeback/showback models and rightsizing strategies across hybrid infrastructure
- You'll act as communicative interface with executive stakeholders, security teams, and cloud architects to define and execute cloud strategies
- You'll manage vendor relationships and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and business alignment
Requirements
- You've a a degree in Computer Science (or related field) as well as several years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure environments
- You'll bring proven experience in architectural high-level design and implementation of enterprise-scale IT infrastructure transformations across diverse technologies
- Expert knowledge in implementing hybrid cloud architecture with a strong focus on automation, compliance, and security distinguishes you
- Deep knowledge of container technologies, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines sets you apart from others
- You've experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, Rancher, OpenShift), including deployment strategies, scaling, policy enforcement, and cluster management
- Expertise in hybrid cloud and automation technologies (VMware, Red Hat, ServiceNow, Kubernetes), and cloud automation tools is among your strengths
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi) and GitOps workflows characterizes you
- Experience with cloud security and compliance, including automated security hardening (CIS Benchmarks, Puppet, Compliance as Code) makes you stand out
- You've a proven ability to drive efficiency improvements, optimize cloud operations, and establish reporting and KPI frameworks
- Good English skills (written & spoken) round off your profile
