The Global Streaming Technology division employs 1,700 people comprising a wide range of roles as architects, analysts, developers, support engineers, and project and programme managers. In Prague, we specialise in backend and frontend development, machine learning, and all things video-streaming.
The Global Streaming Platform, our core technology, is serving various leading entertainment brands like Peacock, Sky Showtime, or Now/Wow. As the propositions expand internationally across Europe and the United States, we develop and support technologies to engage large, diverse audiences with premium content – on any device, anywhere, anytime. We work to offer the best video streaming experience possible.
At Sky and Comcast family, it is all about building the next and the new together. Collaborating closely with our colleagues in the UK, Portugal and the US, we strive to make the best video-streaming technology happen: constantly pushing the boundaries of home video entertainment.
We welcome developers and other tech enthusiasts to join us in our office – a modern social hub - at AFI Butterfly in Karlin.
We are big in video streaming, and luckily, we are not the only ones around with great stories to share. Since January 2023, WeStream has brought together video streaming enthusiasts to discuss technology, exchange ideas, and push the industry forward. We welcomed several major players in the Czech market, including Czech Television (iVysilani), CDN77, iPrima, Seznam, and Livesport. It is our way of giving back to the IT community while helping innovation grow.
