Job Description



Tasks

  • You're responsible for content negotiations, i.e. you negotiate license agreements for Pay TV, SVOD, TVOD, etc. for DACH with US film studios as well as national and international licensors
  • You'll drive analyses and negotiations of high-level output and volume deals, film and series packages as well as individual titles for the entire program portfolio
  • Your tasks include extensive contract audits and the preparation of corresponding presentations
  • You'll manage internal processes related to financial approvals as well as the contract drafting and the final contract signature
  • The evaluation of fiction and non-fiction content offers based on extensive KPIs is part of your daily business
  • Good cooperation is important to us - you will ensure this with all major US studio partners and licensors as well as internal stakeholders in the Content, Finance, Legal, Strategy, Distribution, Commercial, etc. departments

Requirements

  • You've 6-8 years of proven experience in content acquisitions in an international media company
  • Your experience in negotiating complex license agreements and a strong understanding of contract design and legal language is among your strengths as well as your attention to detail and your strong commercial mindset
  • Analyses as well as strategic and commercial thinking are among your strengths
  • Thanks to your know-how of the technology, it's easy for you to understand the Pay-TV and Streaming market and their respective rights requirements
  • You'd describe yourself as a diplomatic team player with a "can-do" attitude and a high level of initiative
  • Working in an international environment and in intercultural teams comes naturally to you
  • You're an expert (m/f/d) in Excel and PowerPoint - knowledge of other tools is a plus
  • Very good German and good English skills to communicate with international stakeholders round off your profile
