This senior editorial role will put you at the sharp end of Sky News journalism across Sky’s web and app.
As a Chief Sub Editor for Sky News website and app, you will have the power to influence the day’s news agenda and lead among our rivals.
You must be a dynamic, multi-skilled journalist, with a background in reporting, a flair for headline writing, the ability to spot a top line, and a critical eye.
You’ll use your skills to break stories, sub and edit stories from straight-news leads to gripping features and investigations. You will also have the ability and ambition to step up and news edit the Sky News website and app.
This is a shift-based role including earlies, lates and some weekends.

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
