On Sky’s eight-week Commercial Strategy Internship, you’ll step inside one of the UK’s most dynamic media and technology businesses. You’ll explore how big decisions are made — from product planning and pricing to campaign launches and customer strategy.


It’s a chance to gain real commercial experience, sharpen your analytical skills, and see how creativity and data work together to shape the future of entertainment. Impress us, and you could land a place on our Business Graduate Programme the following year.

What you’ll do

You’ll work on live projects that give you a real insight into how we make commercial decisions at Sky. You could find yourself:

Analysing market trends across TV, Broadband, Mobile and Insurance

Spotting opportunities in technology and entertainment

Helping shape pricing and promotional plans

Working with teams like Finance, Insight and Marketing to bring new ideas to life

Streamlining how we work and improving performance

Contributing to research and business development projects

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for curious, proactive people who love solving problems and thinking creatively.


  • You’re in your penultimate year of university (any degree subject).
  • You’re a confident communicator and team player.
  • You’re analytical, creative, and curious about how business decisions are made.
  • You’re organised, detail-oriented, and keen to make an impact.
  • You bring fresh ideas and are always looking to improve how things work.

Work with creative agencies to plan where and how we advertise.
