About this programme

This 12-month graduate programme offers you the chance to join our incredible multi-skilled creative teams.

You’ll experience two six-month placements within our Creative Promotion team who specialise in different areas of the business, allowing you to expand on your skillset and gain a deeper insight into the industry.

From cutting original trailers and writing copy for digital ads for Sky’s commissions and original productions, we are uniquely placed to offer you a huge range of exciting and diverse opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work to formal/informal creative briefs and ensure work meets agreed objectives.
  • Take pre-existing content to cut and edit dynamic trailers.
  • Write scripts and direct voiceovers for TV trailers and online video.
  • Be a brand guardian; ensuring work conforms to brand guidelines.
  • Offer input to creative meetings and share ideas.
  • Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
  • Gain crucial experience by being part of work, which is original, effective and made to the highest possible creative standards.

What we’re looking for

  • A portfolio that demonstrates a creative flair
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe CC. A working knowledge of other editing software is a bonus.
  • A keen interest in the Arts and Media.
  • Ability to use your initiative to think ‘outside the box’, come up with engaging ideas that pushes the work forward.
  • Positive persona with a ‘can do’ attitude that brings integrity, passion and willingness to work hard – you see every piece of work as an opportunity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • A desire to translate creative briefs into engaging creative solutions.

Eligibility

It’s a crucial requirement that you have a degree or degree equivalent (or are about to complete one) and are aged 18 and over by September 2024.

To be eligible for this role you are required to have the appropriate right to work in the UK by the start date of the programme. Please be aware Sky does not offer sponsorship for this programme.
