About this programme

This 12-month graduate programme offers you the chance to join the Production team at Sky Creative who make sure advertising work is completed on time, on budget and done by the right people – they get things done.

You’ll experience two six-month placements with separate teams who specialise in different areas of the business, allowing you to develop and strengthen your skillset and gain a deeper insight into the industry.

The Production areas are shoot and non-shoot based and will have you collaborate with award-winning teams on a variety of projects from promoting the latest most-talked-about content to high-profile projects which drive the Sky brand and bring identities to life across digital touch points.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the Assistant Producer and Producer every step of the way with each project – from pre-production to archiving.
  • Manage the delivery of assigned promos end-to-end: check all broadcast requirements are fully met, involving Datalab and Mastering when necessary, ensuring that promos are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Plan and book postproduction resources (audio, voiceover, grade) and provide accurate information for billing.
  • Set up all promo projects in Curator (Sky Creative’s editing platform) with correct material and promo templates.
  • Distribute material and information in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external production companies to gather content, and ensure specs and formats are correct for various outputs.
  • Support creatives during all stages of production: summarise all project information clearly to kick off projects, raise any possible complications with the Producer to help keep projects on track, ensure WIP (work in progress) files are shared and saved in the correct location, confirm music information is reported, keep abreast of all updates and changes required.
  • Liaise with the Sky Compliance team to ensure all promos comply with the necessary rating for broadcast.
  • Keep on top of administration to ensure projects are saved accurately, ensuring all assets can be easily accessed at any time.
  • Ensure the team are fully briefed and on track to deliver high-quality content whilst meeting deadlines and all associated requirements.
  • Quality check the work throughout the process and develop a full understanding of the different brands.
  • Raise purchase orders for work completed by external vendors and keep financial trackers up to date.

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and excellent time management.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, easily demonstrate successful multi-tasking and work calmly under pressure.
  • Passion for content and a genuine interest in creative processes.
