About this programme

This 12-month grad scheme programme offers you the chance to join our incredible multi-skilled design teams.

You’ll experience two six-month placements with separate teams who specialise in different areas of the business, allowing you to expand on your skillset and gain a deeper insight into the industry.

From rebranding Sky Sports to designing key art and creating large-scale above-the-line campaigns for Sky’s commissions and original productions, we are uniquely placed to offer you a huge range of exciting and diverse opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Discover and be inspired to progress your future in Design.
  • Be part of conceptualising and developing ideas for 360 integrated projects and large scale above the line campaigns alongside a team of Designers and Creatives. You’ll be involved with the major Sky brands through AV, social, digital and out of home.
  • Learn how to be a brand guardian.
  • Collaborate and share your ideas with the Design team.
  • Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
  • Master problem-solving.
  • Gain crucial experience of delivering original and effective creative work by being part of an exciting multidisciplinary design team.
  • Learn from the best talent in the industry and visualise your future self in this exciting media industry.

What we’re looking for

  • A portfolio that demonstrates a creative flair and good working knowledge of Adobe CC. A working knowledge of motion design, Figma or 3D is a bonus.
  • A keen interest in the Arts and Media.
  • An ‘outside the box’ thinker, who is solution-orientated and able to collaborate on ideas.
  • Positive persona with a ‘can do’ attitude that brings integrity, passion and willingness to work hard – you see every piece of work as an opportunity.
  • A desire to translate creative briefs into engaging creative solutions.
  • Excellent organisational and presentation skills, with strong verbal and visual flair.
  • Curious and open-minded to accept new challenges and receive feedback.
  • Team orientated and fun.

Eligibility

It’s a crucial requirement is that you have an undergraduate degree (or are about to complete one) and are aged 18 and over by September 2024.

To be eligible for this role you are required to have the appropriate right to work in the UK by the start date of the programme. Please be aware Sky does not offer sponsorship for this programme.
