What you’ll do

You’ll be part of one of three Customer Sales teams, depending on where you’re placed and either support customers who are thinking of leaving, help customers change or upgrade, or give new customers a warm welcome to Sky.

You’ll start with our Start@Sky programme and learn how we deliver outstanding customer service and become an expert in what “great” looks like. You’ll also be supported by a learning specialist, plus a buddy and assessor who’ll guide you day to day. You’ll:

Listen carefully, ask great questions, and understand what each customer really needs

Keep customers at the heart of every conversation

Stay up to date on Sky products and campaigns so you can confidently support customers and recommend options

Deliver brilliant service in every interaction

Work towards targets across several measures with coaching and support to help you improve

What we’re looking for

  • To be above statutory school-leaver age by September 2026
  • At least 2 GCSEs (or equivalent)
  • To have finished any current studies by September 2026, with no plans to study during the programme
  • Not to have already completed a qualification/degree in the same subject area

Skills and qualities that’ll help you shine:

  • A genuine interest in sales and the motivation to hit goals
  • Confidence speaking to people and working as part of a team
  • A positive “keep going” mindset
  • A passion for giving customers a great experience
  • Curiosity about new tech and the latest trends
  • Flexibility — shifts may include evenings and weekends

Build rapport quickly and communicate with confidence

Match the right product to the right person (not just “sell”)

Handle a range of customer scenarios calmly and professionally

Work towards goals and develop your performance over time
