Customer Service Apprenticeship

Ready to kickstart your career with one of the UK’s most iconic entertainment and technology brands? There’s no better place to start than in a role that sits right at the heart of Sky — Customer Service.


On this 15-month apprenticeship, you’ll help customers, solve real problems, and become an expert in Sky products. Along the way, you’ll build confidence, develop skills that employers love, and work towards a Scottish nationally recognised Customer Service qualification, all while being part of a team that champions your growth.


There will be 2 shift patterns available for this programme.

Option 1: 11am-7pm Monday to Friday with a 1 in 4 Saturday.

Option 2: 12pm-8pm Monday to Friday with a 1 in 4 Saturday.

You must have a valid right to work in the UK by 5 October 2026, and it must remain valid for the full 15 months. Sky doesn’t offer sponsorship or provide relocation expenses for this role.

What you’ll do

From day one, you’ll be supported to learn the role properly then build momentum fast. You’ll begin with Start@Sky, an immersive experience where you’ll learn what great customer service looks like at Sky. You’ll be guided by a dedicated learning specialist, supported by an assessor, and paired with a buddy who’ll be with you every step of the way.


Day to day, you’ll:


Find solutions to customer queries and challenges

Listen with empathy, understand what customers need, and build trust

Put customers first in every interaction

Consistently deliver brilliant service

Work towards targets that help you grow and shine

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone excited to kick-start their career at Sky. You're positive, curious, ready to learn, and up for getting stuck in. You’ll need:


  • To be above statutory school-leaver age by 5 October 2026
  • A minimum of two National 5 qualifications (or equivalent)
  • To have finished any current studies by 5 October 2026 (and not be studying during the programme)
  • Not to have already completed a qualification/degree in the same subject area

What you’ll learn

Across the year you’ll build the confidence and skills to thrive in customer service and beyond, working towards your SVQ in Customer Service (SCQF Level 6), with expert training delivered by Babington, a multi award-winning vocational training provider. You’ll learn how to:
