Billing Operations Apprenticeship

On our two-year Billing Operations Apprenticeship, you’ll learn how we keep things running smoothly — from billing and payments to reporting and reconciliation.


You’ll be part of the teams that support our people, improve our processes, and ensure everything adds up. It’s hands-on, practical experience that will help you build skills, grow your confidence, and take the first step in your career.


Along the way, you’ll work towards a Business Administration Level 6 qualification, delivered by Forth Valley College — a leading provider of workplace-based learning.

Right to work

You will have valid right to work in the UK by the programme start date (07/09/2026) and will remain valid for the full duration of the apprenticeship (2yrs) without requiring renewal or expiring during this time.

What you’ll do

You’ll get involved in the day-to-day running of our billing operations and support teams across Sky. Every day is different — one day you could be checking data accuracy, the next you’re helping streamline a new billing process or supporting colleagues with reporting. You’ll:

Get hands-on with real projects across our Billing, Payments and Customer Communication teams

Learn how audits and reconciliations work

Help identify and solve issues to improve how we operate

Support internal reporting and controls

Collaborate with teams across the business

Build your confidence and learn from experts along the way

What we’re looking for

You don’t need experience to join us — just curiosity, commitment and a can-do attitude. You’ll need:


  • Five National 5s (grades A–C or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • To be aged 24 or under by September 2026
  • To have finished education and be ready for full-time work by September 2026

  • A problem-solver with an eye for detail
  • Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint and tech systems
