We're looking for you to join our Platform Engineering Team, limited to 2 years.


Tasks

  • You'll be responsible for developing, improving and stabilizing complex ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SQL, PL/SQL and shell scripting
  • You'll lead technical design discussions, actively shape the solution architecture and use ODI knowledge modules for data integration, including in the context of future cloud architectures       
  • You'll ensure close collaboration with data architects, BI analysts and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • You'll be in charge for defining, implementation and ensuring development standards and best practices for the reliable and secure provision of data pipelines
  • Your tasks will also include the technical management of development teams, mentoring junior staff and responsibility for the implementation and control of projects throughout the entire development cycle
  • You'll take care of ensuring the operational stability of the ODI platform, including monitoring, troubleshooting and integration with related tools, and will provide support with complex error analysis
  • Your daily business will include continuously improving the performance, automation and monitoring of ETL processes through technological developments and tuning measures

Requirements

  • You've a bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science or a related field, as well as proven experience in development, optimisation and administration of ETL processes with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c), including mapping, knowledge modules (RKM, LKM, IKM, etc.), error handling and auditing
  • You've very good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL (including triggers, views, materialised views), performance optimisation, partitioning, indexing and complex data processing logic
  • Your experience with GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer), cloud migrations and big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Impala and Sqoop sets you apart from others
  • Extensive Knowledge of shell scripting, Linux/Unix environments, CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube) and the automation and monitoring of ETL distinguishes you
  • You've proven leadership skills in technical projects, mentoring colleagues, and prioritising tasks and quality assurance in agile environments (e.g. SAFe)
  • You've experience with GDPR/PII data processing, ITSM/ITIL processes for incident, problem and change management, and stability management of the ODI platform
  • You're well versed in cross-functional collaboration with architects and business stakeholders, as well as in data-driven storytelling and solution architecture
  • Very good English skills round off your profile, enabling you to communicate confidently with national and international stakeholders
