I am working as Head of Release Management for WOW within the Group Product Delivery Team based in Munich. As a Release Manager for WOW my role is to orchestrate the seamless deployment of new features, bug fixes and general updates.

My role also includes to navigate the process of finding the right balance between timelines, technical requirements, and user expectations. We are working closely with the colleagues in UK and Italy to ensure the WOW Product gets better and to add new functionalities in collaboration with our Product colleagues.

Our team is responsible for the testing and is additionally taking care about 'In-Life' topics such as incident management and technical change management.

I enjoy my job for several reasons. Collaborating with diverse teams across Germany, and the broader teams in UK and Italy, allows me to gain insights from various perspectives. 

Investigating technical details enhances my learning experience, providing a deeper understanding of all the components involved.

Furthermore, being a part of the “Bigger Picture” of our product WOW gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment in contributing to its success.

A highlight in my career was to contribute and being a part of the project team to ensure a seamless transition into our group platform, a significant milestone that enhanced our service delivery.

The implementation has not only streamlined operations but also opened avenues for launching exciting new features.

Each day, our team works tirelessly to ensure a positive experience for our customers that is also what makes a difference in my opinion.

From the five years I've been with Sky, I really can say that the thrill lies in the continuous pursuit of pushing boundaries, exploring new possibilities, and witnessing the transformative impact these advancements have on our customers.

In this dynamic landscape, the joy of contributing to find solutions, and shaping the future through innovative product delivery, is exciting.
