About this programme

Spot new market trends. Shape our sales plans. Help keep customers coming back. This internship gives you real insight into how we work – and where we stand in a fast-moving industry. You’ll build sharp commercial skills that’ll set you apart.
You could work in areas like:
- Commercial Planning – Shape our sales strategy, understand what customers value, and help build strong quarterly plans.
- Propositional Development – Help decide what new products we launch, using customer insights and smart strategy.
- Media Planning – Team up with creative agencies to plan how we spend our ad budget.
- Trading Performance – Boost sales and retention by fine-tuning prices, promos, and channels.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse the TV, Broadband & Mobile (and insurance) markets and what our competitors are up to
- Spot trends in tech and entertainment
- Work with teams across Sky to bring ideas to life
- Help streamline how we work and make things better
- Collaborate with Finance and Insight teams
- Support research and key projects
You’ll work behind the scenes where the real magic happens – in a fast-paced, fun environment. Impress us, and you could land a spot on our Business Strategy grad programme starting in September 2027.

Application
Time to submit your application on our system. We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and everything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience. That’s all there is to it.
If we need to make adjustments to make you feel more comfortable at any stage, please let us know when you apply — we’ll be in touch to discuss.
Digital Assessment
Once your application is in, we’ll ask you to complete our immersive digital assessments. They’re mostly situational questions and will also include a video interview.
We understand that you might want to utilise AI to support your preparation for taking the assessments – understanding Sky etc. But we ask that you complete the assessments themselves without the assistance of AI.
Assessment Centre
For the final assessment stage, we’ll invite you to our bespoke virtual assessment centre. You’ll get the opportunity to impress us in person and get a feel for what it’s really like to work at Sky.
The day could include an individual interview, group discussion or individual exercise. We’ll give you plenty of notice and let you know how best to prepare for the day.
