Our two-day Insight Event will help you understand the marketplace, and our position in it and help you decide if an Internship in our Commercial team is for you. You’ll get to ask questions, interact with our business leaders and the Early Careers team, and see our innovation and collaboration in action.

About our Commercial Summer Internship programme – starting July 2025 The Commercial Summer Internship programme is an eight-week opportunity for students who want to get involved in Commercial Strategy and Planning. It is based in Osterley, West London, and offers a chance to join our Graduate Programme in 2026.

The internship will give you an opportunity to assess market and competitors trends across all of our key products, conduct data analysis to influence business planning and decision making and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Propositions, Marketing and Finance to propel commercial initiatives forward. What you’ll be doing

  • Discover what it's like working in our Commercial summer internship by getting a taste for identifying new market opportunities, learn to develop a sense of which products go to market and learn about pricing strategies.
  • Connect with people working at Sky, from graduates to senior managers and develop your network. Hear about their experiences and how they went from university to working life.
  • Participate in skills sessions crafted to help you with your job application, online assessments, and the future of our industry.

What we’re looking for

The one essential requirement is that you’re studying for an undergraduate degree in any subject, and in your first year.

Other skills:

  • A highly numerate and analytical problem solver
  • A great verbal and written communicator
  • Detail focused
  • People-oriented with strong organisation skills
  • Proactive and keen to drive improvement
  • A problem solver, with skills to overcome obstacles.

Eligibility:

  • We're looking for first-year undergraduate students or those in their second year of a 4-year course.
  • You don't need a specific degree, but you're interested in exploring the world of Commercial Strategy and Planning through our Commercial Internship
  • We welcome applications from all and, in line with our public commitment to do more to support racial equality, we particularly encourage applicants from a Black heritage background for this two-day insight event.
  • To be eligible and secure a role on our 2025 Commercial internship programme, you are required to have the appropriate right to work in the UK by the start date of the programme. Please be aware Sky does not offer sponsorship for this programme.
