About this programme

Shape the future of entertainment with tech that matters.

At Sky, tech is at the heart of everything we do — from how we stream shows to how customers connect across platforms. On this two-year graduate programme, you’ll work with leading developers, product owners, and tech experts to build the tools and experiences used by millions.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll kick off with a 10-week bootcamp, then rotate through exciting roles like:

  • Product Owner
  • Scrum Master
  • Project Manager
  • Data Analyst
  • Developer

You’ll get stuck into real projects from day one — whether it’s working on our streaming platforms, exploring Gen AI and machine learning, or helping customers discover content in smarter ways. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, collaborate globally, and shape the future of Sky tech.

What we’re looking for

You’re graduating soon, and while your degree can be in any subject, what really matters is your passion for technology. You’re someone who’s always curious about the latest trends, full of ideas, eager to learn, and ready to take on exciting challenges in a fast-paced tech environment.

Please note that we’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this programme, so you’ll need to have the right to work in the UK by the start date.

Application journey

  • Prep Hub

This optional step will help you prepare for our application process — and you can access it before you’ve even applied.

  • Application

Time to submit your application on our system. We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and everything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience. That’s all there is to it.

If we need to make adjustments to make you feel more comfortable at any stage, please let us know when you apply — we’ll be in touch to discuss.

  • Digital Assessment

Once your application is in, we’ll ask you to complete our immersive digital assessments. They’re mostly situational questions and will also include a video interview.

We understand that you might want to utilise AI to support your preparation for taking the assessments – understanding Sky etc. But we ask that you complete the assessments themselves without the assistance of AI.

  • Assessment Centre

For the final assessment stage, we’ll invite you to our bespoke virtual assessment centre. You’ll get the opportunity to impress us in person and get a feel for what it’s really like to work at Sky.

The day could include an individual interview, group discussion or individual exercise. We’ll give you plenty of notice and let you know how best to prepare for the day.

  • We'll be in touch

Once you’ve completed all the assessment steps, we’ll let you know when you can expect to hear back from us. Good luck!

So I was really lucky in that I started my final rotation about six months ahead of the launch of Sky Glass. So, everything was still under an NDA and we had these demo products in our homes, even on the grad scheme right from the beginning, that was exciting!
