About this programme

Where digital innovation meets real-world impact. Join a team that’s not just keeping up with change—but leading it. Our Digital Graduate Programme is designed to shape a new generation of digital talent who can thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.

As AI continues to transform how we operate and how customers engage with us, we need graduates who are not just technically capable, but curious, analytical, and confident communicators. This is about building rounded professionals who can simplify the complex, interpret data, influence decisions, and bring others on the journey.

You’ll be part of a visionary team driving transformation in digital marketing, e-commerce, and AI. With strong support from senior leaders who champion early careers, this programme is your opportunity to build the skills the future demands—before the market even knows it needs them.

We’re creating a new generation of digital talent—people who are always one step ahead, thinking strategically, communicating clearly, and using data to make a real impact.

What you’ll be doing

Over two years, you’ll complete three 8-month rotations across key digital areas. You’ll have exposure to:

  • Digital Trading – The voice of performance. You’ll apply a commercial lens to digital trading activity and strategy initiatives, assessing the impact of the changes we drive. You will work closely with stakeholders, and use data to challenge and influence decisions.
  • Merchandising – Owns website content delivery. You’ll blend analytical thinking with creativity to understand customer behaviour and brand priorities, collaborating with Marketing and Propositions.
  • Experimentation – Tests and validates website changes. You’ll use analytics to quantify impact, refine ideas, and inform decisions across commercial and product teams.
  • Product Development – Focuses on capability and user experience of our discovery and content pages. You’ll explore UX, tooling, and data-led design, including user testing and insight-driven development.

These teams sit within one unified Digital Marketing and eCommerce function, giving you a broad and integrated view of digital. You’ll work at the intersection of business strategy, data analytics, and technology—collaborating across marketing, trading, and proposition teams.

As the business evolves, so might your rotations. We’ll keep you informed and supported, ensuring you’re always working on the most relevant, high-impact projects. Flexibility is part of the journey—and a chance to grow in unexpected ways.

What we’re looking for

Education: You’ll need to be finishing (or have finished) a degree. Most graduates come from business-related disciplines, but we welcome all backgrounds—what matters most is your mindset.

Other skills:

  • Analytical and curious, with a passion for solving problems and understanding digital, AI and Technology — from favourite websites, to emerging trends.
  • Strong communicators, able to bring data to life, present ideas clearly, and influence decisions.
  • Confident collaborators, who thrive in a team and enjoy working with stakeholders.
  • Insight-driven thinkers, who ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and simplify the complex.
  • Experimentation mindset, comfortable with testing, learning, and optimising.
  • Technically aware, but not expected to be coders—just confident using tools and interpreting data.

Whether you’ve studied business, tech, humanities, or something else entirely—if you’re excited by the future of digital experience, this could be the programme for you.

Right to work: To be eligible for this role you are required to have the appropriate right to work in the UK for the programme. Please be aware Sky does not offer sponsorship for this programme.

  • Application

Time to submit your application on our system. We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and everything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience. That’s all there is to it.

If we need to make adjustments to make you feel more comfortable at any stage, please let us know when you apply — we’ll be in touch to discuss.

  • Digital Assessment

Once your application is in, we’ll ask you to complete our immersive digital assessments. They’re mostly situational questions and will also include a video interview.

We understand that you might want to utilise AI to support your preparation for taking the assessments – understanding Sky etc. But we ask that you complete the assessments themselves without the assistance of AI.

The day could include an individual interview, group discussion or individual exercise. We’ll give you plenty of notice and let you know how best to prepare for the day.
