The qualification

IT & Telecoms Professionals SCQF Level 6

Alongside your day to day work you will be working towards the SQA Diploma for Information Technology and Telecommunications Professionals. You’ll be supported by paid study time off work on a Friday afternoon; by your colleagues; by other current and ex apprentices; and by our external accredited training provider.

During your year you will be working towards your SQCF Level 6. Our training provider works very closely with you as an individual ensuring that your diploma modules reflect the work that you are doing day to day.

Some modules such as personal effectiveness or written and personal communication are about having the skills you will need in your future career. Other modules will be chosen around the work you are doing routinely in your role – so for example if you were working as an analyst, you and your trainer might choose a module which is centred around defining customer requirements.
