About this programme

Join our Marketing apprenticeship programme and spend your first year with one of our TV Products, Broadband Mobile, or Digital teams. In your next year you’ll rotate between two more departments, getting exposure to a variety of teams and projects.

Get to know our products inside out. Help us win new business. Build digital marketing communications strategies and find the most effective ways to sell TV bundles, Broadband and mobile packages to customers online. There’s only one place you can get in on all the action – and that’s Sky.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll find out how we attract consumers to Sky with our marketing-leading products and services and how we keep them. Learn about various marketing channels, including social media, digital display, email, direct mail, radio, press and TV. Team up with creative and media agencies to deliver innovative campaigns for our products. Monitor performance. Keep us on time and on budget.

  • Develop digital marketing communications campaigns.
  • Get the gist of multiple digital media channels – mainly display & social advertising, video and native.
  • Partner with our media planning and buying agency to guarantee we’re hitting the highest standards
  • Find the most effective ways to sell TV bundles and mobile packages to customers online.
  • Drive revenue
  • Collaborate with teams across the business and beyond
  • Make sure new offers and artwork are approved, launch on time and within budget.

The qualification

Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship standard

Overview: Apprentices dive into topics ranging from marketing principles and SEO to analytics and the basics of coding. They also get hands-on with a wide range of platforms, including both Google and Facebook ads.

The training provider for this programme is QA. QA are one of the largest providers of tech, management and digital apprenticeships and funded workplace learning programmes, empowering organisations, and individuals to develop the tech capabilities needed for success. Delivering apprenticeships now since 2008, they have a rich history or transferring knowledge and upskilling, supporting organisations to both generate new talent through recruitment or upskilling/reskilling your existing workforce.

What we’re looking for

You’ll need a minimum of five GCSEs A* – C (or equivalent grades 9-4), including English and Maths.

Other skills we’re looking for include:

  • Passionate about marketing and hungry to with an appetite to learn more.
  • Collaborative and great with people.
  • A self-starter, resilient when it gets hectic
  • Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for this role, you must meet all of the following eligibility criteria.

  • You have a minimum of five GCSEs A* - C (or equivalent grades 9-4), including English and Maths, or will have these by September 2025.
  • You will be above the statutory school leaver age by September 2025.
  • You haven’t completed a qualification or degree in the subject you are applying to.
  • You will have completed any current education by September 2025 and do not plan to be undertaking any education throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
  • You will have resided in the UK or Republic of Ireland for three years by September 2025, unless you have an exemption listed in Annex A of the document linked below.
  • If you are on a time limited visa, your visa will not expire at any point during the apprenticeship programme.
