I am responsible for delivering a high quality, customer focused experience, whilst driving sales across Sky’s full product range; including TV, Broadband, Mobile, and streaming services.
I support customers by understanding their needs, recommending tailored solutions, and clearly explaining products and promotions to help them make informed decisions.
A key part of my role is consistently meeting and exceeding performance targets, while maintaining Sky’s standards for compliance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
What is it that you love most about your career in Retail at Sky?
Every day gives me the opportunity to meet different customers, understand what matters to them, and genuinely help by matching them with the right Sky products. Knowing that I’m making technology simpler, more accessible, and more enjoyable for customers is extremely rewarding.
Development and opportunities to grow is a massive plus for me. The pay scheme is fair and rewards hard work. Lots of additional perks including share save scheme, private healthcare, free Sky etc also help!
I feel connected to Sky’s content and products because they’re relevant, trusted, and easy to relate to customers’ everyday lives. By understanding and using Sky’s services myself, I can confidently talk about the real benefits; whether that’s entertainment, sport, or reliable connectivity, and tailor conversations to what matters most to each customer.
What has been a career highlight/project for you that allowed you to make a difference?
Currently on the 'Stepping Stones' programme, designed to invest time and training for advisors to better themselves. It’s real highlight to be recognised for my hard work within my 18-month return to the company.
I am learning how to manage a high performing team as well as transferrable skills including coaching, time management, delegation & data reading.
What about your role makes you feel excited, ambitious and inspired?
It's the chance to make a real impact with customers every day, while working toward clear progression goals. The fast-paced retail environment pushes me to continuously improve, build my confidence, and take on more responsibility, which fuels my ambition to grow into leadership. Being trusted to represent a strong brand like Sky keeps me motivated and proud of the work I do.
