Within my role in Sky, I have worked as part of our projects from Loyalty Change to Loyalty Stay. This has been something we tend to flex between quite often.
I have supported our planning team in scheduling training sessions around our busy periods and ensuring it in-line with our forecast.
My team in Sky goes a lot further than just my actual 'team mates'. I have grown bonds and relationships within Sky that have helped me branch out - to find what I love the most about Sky, and my opportunities here.
I love that my role in Sky is so ever changing. No day is ever the same.
I thrive off the support and opportunities I'm given in my role, which in turn has really boosted my own confidence. It's made a huge difference to my own mental health, and how I overcome situations. Sky is so big on making sure this happens.
My biggest career highlight to date is most definitely the opportunity to go and support our outsource team in Bangalore. They had recently been ramped into the business and we saw few things that could have improved.
We spent three weeks ensuring we picked up anything we could support with quality conversations and framework. Off the back of this, we saw a massive rise performance from the site.
Sky is always changing. This means every single day is different, and the job always changes- whether it's our processes, or the quality we thrive to give.
I love that Sky is so fast paced. I always think back to when I first started and I'd say "Next it'll be gas and electricity we're doing!"
Next thing we know, Sky's moving into the Insurance game. This has set the business up to ensure we can be in every customer’s household no matter what their needs are.
My peers at Sky all follow the Sky Values around diversity & inclusion. This is so important as everyone in the workplace is so comfortable in being themselves.
My manager, and those around me, are always pushing us to go for any type of opportunities you may be keen to go for, even if it means moving to another part of the business.
I live relatively close to the office so it's so easy to have a good work life balance. Over time, I have found things that work well for me in terms of working my work/life balance well.
The support you get from the business, from mental health to general support on the day-to-day, is great. They do everything they can to help you grow as a person. That isn't always focussed on your work life, but your general life skills as well, which I genuinely believe to be a massive part of my growth and development with my own mental health.
