-Provide as part of a team 24/7 application support, analysis and design of new solutions from small fix through to full solutions.
-Undertake development of enterprise applications and off-the-shelf packages and Drive the technical delivery of changes and support for a number of Contact Technology applications.
-Work with Stakeholders to define, manage and deliver on expectations
-Develope strategic vision and objectives in line with business goals for the department.
-Work closely with the Offshore development team and On-Shore Operations team.
-Ensure applications are stable and high performing at all times with an ongoing vision for improvement.
-Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors and other technology teams
-Encourage innovation across the team and the wider departments.
-Proven experience of leading multi-disciplinary technologies from vision to the delivery.
-A technology background that encompasses a wide breadth of technologies, including Oracle DBs and SQL, Java, Apex and Restful services as well as vendor supplied applications that have been customised and integrate with other applications
-Experience in managing multiple work-streams and technologies and knowledge of the full development lifecycles
-A strategic vision for the systems and applications and The ability to manage non-routine queries, request, incidents and problems under pressure
-The ability to be adaptable to change, open to new ideas, and the ability to take on new responsibilities
-A highly effective, positive and influential communication style and the ability to build & maintain effective relationships across IT and business areas within Sky and external partners to ensure knowledge and experience are shared for the benefit of all parties
-Experience of being delivered in agile and waterfall methodologies, and solid understanding of support concepts. Experience of ITIL would be advantageous
-Experience of Enterprise Content Management or Knowledge Management would advantageous, plus a strong desire to grow and develop technical capabilities
