This is an exciting opportunity to join the Infrastructure Core Engineering (ICE) team in Cloud and Infrastructure at Sky, developing the infrastructure platform which underpins Sky Group’s Private Cloud Platforms.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with the design, implementation, and support of the network infrastructure underpinning Sky’s Private Cloud across Europe.
• Deliver new infrastructure capabilities to partner engineering teams and customers.
• Work on complex, high-profile technical projects in private and hybrid cloud environments, clearly communicating technical challenges and progress.
• Continuously improve our approaches, processes and automation.
• Contribute to a DevOps culture of collaboration, security, and operational efficiency.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong networking configuration and in-depth troubleshooting skills with routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
• Experience building and running networks based on NSX-T.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code toolsets such as Ansible, Tower/AWX, Terraform and continuous integration principles and tooling, such as Concourse, Jenkins and Gitlab CI
• Broad understanding of associated datacentre, virtualisation, container and application technologies.
