Performance Engineer: As a part of Chaos Engineering team, you will be responsible for all Chaos Experiments across the OTT Technology.

What you’ll do:

– Supervise the experiments/test executions
– Gain a deep understanding of the end-to-end systems understanding the functionalities and dependencies of each component.
– Analyse test/experiment results and by building dashboards and monitoring key matrices.
– Interact with development/devops teams to clarify and resolve test outcomes
– Supervise any follow-up derived by an anomalous test result
– Prepare weekly/monthly reports

What you’ll bring:

– Extensive experience as a Performance Test Engineer for large API based platforms and a strong passion in distributed systems resilience, reliability and availability
– A strong knowledge of most common resiliency patterns and practices
– A good understanding of monitoring and log analysis tools.
– Coding/Scripting skills and good knowledge of performance testing concept
– Knowledge of working with Kubernetes and AWS
– Experience working with Grafana or similar tools and a knowledge of CI/CD practices

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
