As a Broadband Tech Team Lead, you will be supporting the delivery of a world class visit experience to every one of our residential and business customers. Your role will be to manage and develop a team of Broadband Tech Experts, who provision and service our range of communications solutions including high-speed Wi-Fi, broadband and voice.
Your team’s mission will be to connect, integrate and optimise our customers’ technology, to maximise broadband and Wi-Fi connectivity in the home or business. As their Tech Team Lead, your support and coaching will ensure they’re equipped with everything they need to bring technology to life and offer a best in class customer experience
Through effective performance management and coaching, you’ll drive continuous improvement so every customer receives a fully optimised Sky experience, every time. People Experience will be at the forefront of everything that you do creating and maintaining an engaged, collaborative and inclusive culture within your team
You’ll have a strong technical background and previous management experience in building, developing, coaching and inspiring teams in a customer-focused environment. You’ll be resilient, flexible, and an innovative thinker, who is accountable, ready to make decisions and driven to ensure all core operational KPIs are met.
You’ll know all about devices and technology used in the home – what they do, how they interface with Wi-Fi & broadband and how to get the most out of them. You’ll always be on the look-out for what’s next in the industry and identifying ways to improve the way we do things.

A bit more about our working patterns:
Our team leads cover a large travel area and work five days a week, including mornings, evenings and/or weekends, so you’ll be flexible with working hours. You’ll have a valid manual driving licence (with no more than six points); you’ll successfully complete criminal records checks; and you should live within a commutable distance to the team area.
