Purpose of the role
The Sky AdSmart Pricing & Inventory Manager will work within the broader Ad Operations group, specialising in the management of pricing and inventory across the platform and reporting directly to the Digital & Sky AdSmart Yield Strategy Controller.
Your key responsibilities
•Administer, maintain and develop the Sky AdSmart pricing and campaign planning model
•Partner the Insight & Decision Science team (IDS) to administer, maintain and develop the Sky AdSmart segment tool
•Be the business expert on all things pricing related and be pro-active in making recommendations to help develop pricing strategy; the key KPI being to protect & grow yield
•Play a key role in maintaining and developing inventory forecasting, at both the network and campaign level
•Own the relationship between Sky AdSmart and the internal Media Partner team
•Use your inventory management skills to forecast Sky AdSmart impression delivery to media partner channels and employ insight to determine future revenue payments
•Respond to both internal and external related reporting requirements from across the business
•Evolve and enhance systems and tools for agile data analysis/visualisation; with an increasing drive towards self-service
•Work in collaboration with Ad Sales to source data points and analysis to support commercial initiatives
•Act as the key conduit between Ad Sales and both Business Objects and Sky AdSmart Analytics reporting suites
•Be comfortable in blending science with art to deliver pragmatic answers to ad hoc questions with short turnaround times
•CRM data hygiene & governance to ensure data is robust & valid
•Graduate preferably with a numerical or business degree, or with A Level maths
•Significant work experience in a pricing, inventory management or commercial strategy role
•Blend of technical/operational and analytical skillset
•Experience of working in an ad tech, broadcast or digital environment would be a distinct advantage
