Sky Production Services Placement

Applications are currently closed.

Our 12-month full time programme, involves rotating throughout areas of our Sky Production Services team. You’ll get excellent insight and practical exposure to this side of our business and the experience will help you apply for longer term opportunities with our Content teams.

Duration: 12 months
Requirements: Must be over 18. The programme is applicable to candidates who have a genuine passion for the industry, a willingness to learn on the job and to build a career in Production
Location(s): Osterley, West London
Start date: TBC

We recognise that there’s a shortage of skills in our industry, and limited opportunities for those interested in Production to gain experience. As a result, we’ve created this programme to allow those in the early stages of their careers to learn on the job. This programme will give you the skills to apply for roles in various ‘crafts’ once you’ve identified your interests.

There are four areas within Content Services where you could be placed – Ingest; Quality Control & Assurance (think Delivery and Transmission); Archive; and Media Management. We’ll aim to start you off in the team that most interests you.  Once you’ve covered a few of these areas, there are likely to be opportunities in areas of Post Production, for example, in one of our Editing or Audio teams.

You’ll be given support by managers within these areas and have the amazing opportunity to be mentored on the job. To be successful you’ll show excellent results, a great attitude and ethics; in return, after the programme has ended, we hope to find permanent roles within our Sky Production Service team.

Working Pattern: Shift working, including occasional night shifts and weekends.
