On this two-year graduate programme, you have the option of choosing between one of two paths: business analysis or project management, both of which will lead to a professional qualification in your chosen area.
You can expect to be working on high-profile projects at pace, leading to great exposure and a huge sense of achievement when we deliver for the business and our customers. Recent projects include the launch of Sky Glass as well as Apple TV and Disney+ on Sky Q. If you want to work on a diverse and interesting portfolio of projects, for which Sky is famous for, then Change Delivery is the place to be. After two years, you’ll join the team as a fully trained Business Analyst or Project Manager.
What you’ll be doing
Business Analyst
As a Graduate Business Analyst, you’ll focus on finding innovative solutions, designing an ideal customer experience, and working with stakeholders from across the business to define and manage business requirements for change.
You’ll learn how to:
- Provide business analysis support across the whole life cycle of projects
- Create and define customer journeys through the facilitation of workshops and stakeholder meetings to support business and operational readiness
- Document end to end business requirements from inception to solution delivery, requirements prioritisation and sign off
- Create and manage the analysis approach and plan that defines the activities and timings to support successful project delivery.
Project Management
As a Graduate Project Manager, you’ll successfully deliver change by leading and delivering through the project team, making sure everything runs to schedule, to the agreed budget and to the commercial and business objectives.
You’ll learn how to:
- Manage projects within a programme across the whole delivery lifecycle
- Own and manage project documents
- Develop governance that enables effective project communication and business decision making
- Ensure projects deliver on time, to scope and budget and with a focus on the customer and business impact.

Keep Sky safe from cyber-attack. Educate staff on security threat and vulnerability. Advise on new security threats. Get involved in supporting and guiding projects. All so we can continue to deliver products free from threat exposure.
As part of our Group Technology Security team, you’ll gain experience working across multiple lifecycle stages of Cyber Security here at Sky. You’ll then get the opportunity to take on a more focused role, whether that’s simulating an attack on our computers or designing system architecture. There’s only one place you’ll see action like this in your career – and that’s Sky.
What you’ll be doing
Take part in a five-week induction before getting under the skin of our cyber security operation. You’ll cover analysis, project management and specialist cyber security training. Throughout the two-year programme, you’ll do up to four rotations, before specialising, with roles ranging from penetration testing to security project management.
Expected learnings during this programme:
- An understanding of threat intelligence and the common threats facing industry
- Common incidents that can occur and how they are responded to
- Business support and security program/project management
- Security design and architecture
- Information security operations
- Assurance, penetration testing and code review.

Use advance techniques to make predictions about the future. Develop tools and processes to analyse data. Automate your own machine learning algorithms. Data Science is at the heart of decision making and customer treatments in Sky. We provide analytics to inform customer growth strategies, create tooling to drive personalised customer treatments and champion test and learn through experimentation
On our Data Science programme, you’ll have exposure across the business as you work with our stakeholders to help drive decision making using the power of data and insights. You’ll learn advanced analytical techniques and use cutting edge predictive algorithms to deliver valuable insight to the business. You could be helping to build our next data product, predicting future customer behaviour, or unlocking the value of our content.
And the best thing is you don’t have to specialise too soon. Instead, you get to experience everything that makes data science special at Sky before deciding on the area that’s right for you.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll join our fast-track programme for those knowing they want to work in Data Science. You’ll do two six-month rotations within Sky Data:
- Advanced Analytics
- Commercial Analytics
This gives you the opportunity to work across two teams, giving you broad exposure.
Advanced Analytics are a team full of data scientists that use customer level, big / deep data sets from Sky.
Commercial Analytics & Experimentation are the owners of Commercial Analytics data products at Sky. They provide recommendations through Data Science and work in close partnership with stakeholders.

What we’re looking for
You’re a graduate from any degree discipline, or soon will be. You’re likely to have studied maths, statistics, computer science, economics, physics or be able to demonstrate your understanding of the use of data through personal or university projects. We’re interested in your passion for data and the drive and ambition you can bring to the team.

- Logical, end to end thinker
