Please note this does not contribute to your formal application.

Application form

This is the easy part. Simply submit your application on our system. We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and anything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience. That’s all there is to it.

If you need any adjustments for any stage of the process, make sure to let us know when you apply and one of our team will be in touch to discuss.

Digital assessments

As part of the application process you’ll complete our immersive digital assessments. One of these assessments will include a video interview.

If you’re applying for any of our finance and software engineering programmes, we’ll also be assessing specific skills. For finance, we’ll ask you to complete a numerical reasoning test. For software engineering, you’ll take part in additional digital assessment where you can show us your coding skills.

Ready to go? Here are some hints and tips to get you started:

  • Find somewhere quiet where you won’t get distracted
  • It might help to turn off your phone or keep it on silent
  • Open a new browser window or close any tabs you aren’t currently using
  • Have a pen, some paper and calculator to hand
  • Get camera ready. Make sure you’re in a tidy, well-lit space with good internet connection. And of course, test your audio and webcam to check that they’re working fine. We’ll give you some more instructions to help you get set up
  • To get you in the swing of things, you’ll get some time to practice recording your answers. Make the most of this so you’re ready for your final take
  • We know it might feel a little strange but try and treat the video interview like you would any interview. Dress comfortably, smile and keep focussed on the camera
  • And finally, we’re excited to get to know you. Be yourself. Always provide answers that best represent you and what you would do in a given situation.

Why not pop onto our dedicated Prep hub to familiarise yourself with some of these digital assessments before completing them.

You’ll also have the opportunity to practice each of these assessments beforehand, so please read our email instructions carefully. We’ve added some tips to help you along the way.

Assessment centre

Learning & development

Alongside your qualification you’ll enjoy a brand new, action-packed, learning experience with us. We’ll help you grow into a great future leader, with the right tools and support. Our 2-year learning and development programme sits alongside your apprenticeship programme and supports you during your programme and beyond with:

Growth – Every project and role you take on will be a chance to learn and grow. And you’ll be supported by passionate colleagues along the way.

Confidence – Whatever your background, you can make a valuable and valued contribution. You’ll build confidence by getting involved and stepping outside of comfort zone.

Belonging – You’re trusted to own your day, but there’s always someone on hand to make sure you succeed. With fellow grads, inspiring each other to think big and take action. Or with your manager and wider Sky team to help build your own unique career.

Plus, you’ll have access to a range of tools, from workshops to digital courses (like LinkedIn Learning), which will help you along the way.

It’s a journey and we want you to see your progress, so you’ll get your very own development report to track your success.
