Sky Cares launched 2019, enabling thousands of Sky people to give their time and energy to good causes in their communities. We are working in partnership with over 40 charities across Europe. The key focuses are homelessness, loneliness, young people and the environment.

Every day, Sky people in call centers are reaching out to the elderly and isolated, as part of our volunteering befriending service.

Others are mentoring kids, supporting them to think big and enjoy new experiences. And we're doing beach and river cleans, to create a better environment for everyone.

Step 1: Get started

Step 2: Immersive Online Assessment

This first stage is all about getting to know us, while we get to know you. It’ll give you a real idea of what the role is that you have applied to.

You’ll be shown possible work scenarios and asked how you’d respond, choosing your most and least likely actions. You’ll also answer a few questions about your preferred working style, helping us understand your strengths.

Step 3: Getting to know you

A short video Q&A

If you meet the requirements of the role, you’ll be immediately invited to complete a short video Q&A on the same SOVA candidate portal.

You’ll answer three questions to help us get to know you better. This is your opportunity to shine so don’t be afraid to blow your own trumpet and impress us.

And remember, our interviews are rooted in behaviours that align to our values. We will ask you to tell us what interests you about us and the role and about times when you’ve shown resilience and strong communication skills.

Step 4: Virtual Assessment Centre

The final stage of our assessment is an opportunity for us to get to know you better, and for you to find out more about us. In your invite to this stage, you’ll find all the information you need about where and when your assessment will take place

The final stage assessment is split into two exercises*:

A role play - based on a real life example of a customer interaction. This usually lasts around 20 minutes
A skills and motivation interview where we’ll ask some questions to learn more about your alignment with the capabilities we look for at Sky. This usually lasts around 30 minutes.

You’ll be guided by one of our assessors throughout the session, so you’ll never feel on your own.

Step 5: Your feedback report

After each step – get your feedback

We understand feedback is very important for you to be able to develop your skills. There will be feedback provided at each stage of the assessment process. Once you complete an assessment, you’ll receive a feedback report on the skills that we have evaluated. Please be mindful that this is not the outcome of your assessment. Your customised feedback report assessment can be accessed by logging back into our assessment platform, SOVA.
