Meet Orlaith Ryan, Chief Commercial Officer

‘This has also been in incredible milestone for our Women at Sky network who have really gotten behind the partnership’

Orlaith Ryan

Chief Commercial Officer

One of my proudest moments so far at Sky has been our partnership with the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team. We’re the first-ever, stand-along Primary Partner. The squad is made up of incredible women who have broken through barriers, both on and off the pitch. They are, and will continue to be, an inspiration to people of all ages right across the country.

For us, this partnership has always been about the players. Doing what we can to help them succeed and fulfil their potential and ambitions. We launched the Sky WNT Fund to help as a number of the players in the team are juggling elite athlete schedules with third level education and other careers. The WNT Fund aims to offer assistance to players on those journeys. We also offer mentorship opportunities relevant to a player’s chosen career or education path.
We are immensely proud of our partnership with this great squad and in the short time we have been their primary partner, we have seen this team break record after record.

This has also been in incredible milestone for our Women at Sky network who have really gotten behind the partnership ensuring our people at Sky have the opportunity to get involved. Our network launched in 2017 with the aim of connecting men and women across Sky, providing inspiration through role models and allowing people to share experiences. It’s all part of making Sky an even better, and inclusive, place to work.
